It went so well the last 2 hours. I had a straight flush (T7 are my hole cards for those who cant see ‘em), which didnt brought me money.

Like this was the whole night. And at the end of my session came this hand:

I haven’t played poker for a longer time now. I spent my time with coding our handconverter. Ok i tried to clear my bonus at pokerstars. But this was a desaster. So i stopped playing again. What motivated me now was pokertracker 3. Awesome program.

The half of the money i’ve lost this year is back in my bankroll. Guess i’ll be playing much more often again.

Handconverter

Handconverter is still in progress. Every day i code a few lines. I guess the Handconverter will support partypoker after the Weekend.

Yesturday a new pokertracker version (3.00 build 2) was releasd. The release notes are:

Fixed:

Import: Full Tilt when someone says in chat "[player] wins" (requires re-import)
Import: Older OnGame histories (requires re-import)
Import: PartyGaming import issues (requires re-import)
Import: Everest cash hands being imported as tournament hands
Filter: Date filter on Session reports
Report: The "By Hours" information should now be correct
Report: Removed duplicate BB Won from the Session Hands report
Replayer: Fixed freezing issues

Pokertracker 3 i a good piece of software. Everything is clearly arranged, easy to use and the integration of the poker ace HUD was done insanely good. Only bad thing is that my own stats are beeing removed from the tables after some time. And when they are coming back, they won’t stay that long.

Well i thought i wouldn’t have something to tell from Cebit. So it was suprising to see Poker related stuff there. The DFKI (Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz GmbH) showed some AI-Poker

You were able to poker against Sam and Max.

The Dealer puts the Cards, who have an RFID-Chip, on the marks on the table. Because of the RFID-Chips both AIs know which Cards are on the table. Pokeralgorithms judge the actions and calculate the value of the hand. Depending on personality and emotional condition they act different and try to bluff.

They played Five Card Draw. The AIs were irritated from time to time and didn’t evaluate the value of their hands and didn’t realize when cards were changed.

So now theres the question if we soon have the best poker players playing against AIs. Like the chesspros play chess against AIs. Since there is no bluffing in chess and you do not always act relational, i guess this would be interesting. Coz the claims are higher i think.

Cebit wasn’t that spectecular this year. Could be because i was just hustling from booth to booth. So it was more work than enjoying the action. Its crazy to be in charge now for our IT-Infratructure and act as an representative of an company and you have to hand out business cards. Now i just need a pimped business card box!

The Riddlingaction was quiet a shot in the foot. But that was calculated to a big percent. Well, but at least we found out, that we have one regular reader, who also took part on that riddling action. AndyAndyAndy did not know everything, but enough to get himself 5 Dollar. I added 5 Dollar loyalty bonus, so he earned 10.

Bought a new keyboard. It was time!. It’s the Logitech Wave .

Now i can work much relaxter on the handconverter. It supports betfair (zu 95%) and Pokerstars (99.9999%). This week we’ll put it online with a new design. From time to time we’ll add new features.

Subhead is coding some Desktoptools who will support you in tough decisions while sitting on the tables. He finished a Pot Odds Calculator, which in version 1,can do exactly what its name says: calculate Pot odds. From time to time there will be added new features. When publishing the handconverter, we’ll publish that tool as well. Would be nice to get some feedback of you guys :).

Damn we are pretty! I still can’t believe it. Good job Kay!

But not only Kay was very busy. No, i earned myself some busy points too. We follow our Slogan "madapez is growing" and try to add new features to the page. Kay did the beginning and i follow with showing you the beta of our >> Handconverter <<. For now it just converts Pokerstars Holdem and Omaha.

As soon as there are all features included, we will add more rooms. As a Special we made a format for the Poker Institut, where you can find us as well from time to time. If you want to help us, test the converter and give us some feedback (there is a button for it at the handconverterpage, or just post in the comments). And don’t forget: it’s a beta. Some functions may not work, others not properly.
